Box Pews

The Box Pews in the south gallery were original and were probably the same as those on the main floor until 1867 when the present pews were installed. On several of these slip pews, the visitor can see silver colored plates commemorating former parishioners, wardens, vestrymen, a governor and the statesman, Daniel Webster, who attended St. John's regularly.
