Ms. Jennifer McPherson, Organ Scholar

Jennifer is a product of the Young Organist Collaborative and a new member of St. John’s staff. As organ scholar she is receiving a small stipend and tutelage from Abbey as well as the opportunity to hone her skills on a great instrument with an encouraging community. We receive a gifted artist that is at the beginning of a great journey. She is filling in for Abbey during her maternity leave, but will remain on after Abbey’s return assisting Abbey two Sundays a month. If you have ever seen Abbey play the organ with one hand and conduct the choir with the other you know that it is a sight to see, but also know that having some assistance will also make our music ministry more full for everyone. Jennifer is entering her senior year in high school and will be with us until she departs for college.
