Take This Bread Book Discussion

Book Discussion

We will gather for discussion over a period of two evenings meeting from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. Our first meeting will be Thursday, July 24th and our second meeting will be Thursday, August 7th.

You are invited to join us whether you have read the book or not as it will surely conjure up some very interesting discussion that all may participate in.

For directions to the book discussion, please contact Christine Niles (603) 430-2187 (Portsmouth).

Let us see what this inspiring book can lead us to do in the life of St. John’s.

After her conversion to Christianity, Sara Miles started a food pantry in the sanctuary of St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church in San Francisco. “Feed my sheep”, is what she set out to do, and found that people were hungry for much more than food. She shares the story in her recent memoir, Take This Bread, a Radical Conversion.
