Sermon Series
Go and Do!
This Sunday, August 17 from 12-5PM
St. John's joins hands with more than 70 organizations, restaurants, businesses, entertainers, and retailers in our support of, and presence at this event. The New England BIPOC Festival takes place Sunday, August 17 from 12-5PM at Strawbery Banke. We will be hosting a booth if you are interested in volunteering please contact Christine Hudson at the church office.
Come witness amazing performances, sample delicious dishes, and join the conversation around what it means to center collective consciousness and thoughtful action toward embracing diversity, promoting equity, and practicing inclusion.
As long as black and brown people are marginalized, ignored, regarded as second class citizens, or blocked from the same rights and privileges enjoyed by white folks, our democracy cannot succeed. By bringing our community together we hope to cultivate conversation and collective action about the important threads of equity and social justice that hold us all together.
