stewardship Update

Robin Burdick, Vestry member

WE'RE GETTING CLOSE - A STEWARDSHIP UPDATE FROM ST. JOHN'S

This past Sunday, St. John's Vestry member Robin Burdick offered a beautiful witness during worship about what St. John’s has meant in her life and why stewardship matters. If you missed it, we invite you to take a few minutes to watch her reflection by clicking on the video below.

As we begin to wind down this year’s stewardship season, we want to offer one more invitation to anyone who may still be considering a pledge. Stewardship is one of the ways we respond to God’s generosity in our lives, offering our time, talent, and treasure in support of the ministry we share together. A pledge is one way we make that commitment visible and helps the church plan faithfully for the year ahead.

So far, 226 households have pledged about $590,000 toward our goal of $650,000. With the finish line now in sight, we are hopeful that together we can close the remaining gap and be assured of the resources needed to sustain the ministries we share.

Thank you!

If you have already pledged, thank you. Your generosity helps make the life of this community possible. If you have been meaning to participate but have not yet had the chance, we would be grateful to include your pledge as we continue working together toward our goal.

There are several simple ways to make your pledge:

• Pledge online by clicking here

• Fill out a pledge card and place it in the offering basket on Sunday

• Fill out a pledge card and mail to the church office

• Call or email Christine in the parish office, and she will be happy to record your pledge for you

Office phone: 603-436-8283

Parish Administrator email: administrator@stjohnsnh.org

Thank you for the many ways you help make St. John’s the community it is. As we continue this year’s journey of being Rooted in Jesus, Grounded in Love, your participation helps nurture the ministry we share together.

New to pledging?
Curious how it works?

If you’ve never made a pledge before, or simply have questions about what pledging means at St. John’s, we would be glad to talk with you. A vestry member would be happy to share how pledging works in our community and why it matters.

If you’re curious, feel free to reach out to the parish office and we will help connect you.

What a Weekly Gift Can Become

As Robin shared on Sunday, even a child’s offering of a quarter each week becomes $13 over the course of a year. Sometimes it helps to think about a pledge in weekly terms.

Small, steady gifts add up in meaningful ways:

• 25¢ per week = $13 per year

• $5 per week = $260 per year

• $10 per week = $520 per year

• $20 per week = $1,040 per year

• $25 per week = $1,300 per year

• $50 per week = $2,600 per year

• $100 per week = $5,200 per year

• and beyond

Every pledge, at every level, helps sustain the worship, care, learning, and outreach we share together at St. John’s.
