Sermon Series
"On the Way Together"
The Rev. Aaron B. Jenkyn
This week's sermon invites us to see our lives of faith as a shared journey, where Christ often meets us in ordinary moments, on the road, in conversation, and at the table, whether we recognize him at first or not. As we gather and share our stories, those scattered glimpses of grace begin to come into focus, helping us see more clearly together than we ever could alone. And so we are sent back into our lives, to walk, to notice, and to return, ready to name where we have encountered the risen Christ.
MUSIC
“Many Tables,” Fred Gramann; featuring Kate Curtis Green, soloist, and the St. John's Parish Choir under the direction of Jennifer McPherson Mulhern, Director of Music and Liturgy. CONCERTS ON THE HILL
This fall, St. John's will mark the 25th anniversary of the installation of our beloved Létourneau pipe organ, and we are kicking off the celebrations early with world-renowned organist Nicole Keller on May 17 at 4PM!
In collaboration with the New Hampshire chapter of the American Guild of Organists, St. John's Concerts On The Hill is proud to present Nicole Keller in recital here in our historic and beautiful sanctuary. Concertgoers will be treated to a performance unlike any other; Keller being hailed as "...an aggressive player with outstanding technique and fine musical sensibilities..." [The Chicago Crusader].
For the first time in St. John's history, attendees seated downstairs will have a front row seat to the action, not only being able to listen to Ms. Keller performing on the fabulous Létourneau organ in our space, but also will be able to see Ms. Keller's performance in real time via high definition projection.
Admission to all Concerts On The Hill events is by suggested donation with the option to purchase tickets in advance for peace of mind. Click here to secure your tickets today!
HAVE YOU TAKEN THE ALL PARISH SURVEY?
You are invited to take part in this parish-wide effort to help shape the future of St. John’s and discern where God is calling us in the years ahead.
We are grateful for the thoughtful participation we have already received. Each response is helping to shape a clearer picture of who we are as a parish and where we are being called to grow. If you have already completed the survey, thank you for taking the time to be part of this process.
If you have not yet had the opportunity to respond, there is still time. The survey remains open until April 26 and takes about 15 minutes to complete. Your perspective is an important part of this shared effort, and we hope you will consider adding your voice.
We also encourage you to gently invite others in the St. John’s community to participate. The more voices we hear, the more faithfully we can move forward together.
Thank you for your continued prayer, engagement, and care for the life of St. John’s.
