Common Cents Economy Shop - The shop accepts donations and provides low cost clothing, household items, sheets and blankets to the community at large. The shop is open year-round on Thursdays from 10:30am to 1:30pm and from September to May on Wednesdays from 9am to 1pm.
Common Table - Common Table welcomes all to a nutritious meal in a joyful environment, feeding body and soul within a caring community. Every Thursday from noon to 1pm, the many Common Table volunteers welcome all from the community to a meal in Thaxter Hall.
Common Table at Crossroads House - Each month a crew of enthusiastic and cheerful cooks gathers in the kitchen in Thaxter Hall to prepare a meal for the residents of Crossroads House, the local homeless shelter.
Common Table at Salvation Army Soup Kitchen - This team prepares, serves and cleans up a meal at the Portsmouth Salvation Army Soup Kitchen monthly.
Neighbor Care - A network of volunteers creates community through extending loving service and care to our neighbors.
Pancake Breakfast - Every third Sunday of the month from September to May, St. John’s offers a pancake breakfast in Thaxter Hall from 7:30am to 10:30am. Kids $3, Seniors $4, Adults $5.
Seacoast Family Promise (SFP) - SFP is a network of volunteers from various faith communities, using donations of time and funds, who provides a safe place for homeless families to turn for food, shelter, and social services. Participating congregations reach out to families in crisis offering guidance and encouragement while preserving their dignity as they take important steps to regain independence.

Twelve Step Groups - St. John's provides meeting facilities for AA, NA and FA groups.
