The Choirs of St. John’s
Parish Choir
The Parish Choir is open to all adults (high school age onwards) who are interested in singing. During the program year (after Labor Day through Pentecost), the Parish Choir typically rehearses two Wednesdays each month from 7-8:30pm and every Sunday morning from 8:30-9:45am. The Parish Choir sings for most Sunday 10am services, in addition to several festival services throughout the program year. Everyone with a voice and a willingness to work hard is welcome to join. No audition is needed, but it is helpful to have had some choral singing experience.

Compline Choir
A Lenten Worship Opportunity for SJC and the Seacoast Community.
"Be our light in the darkness, O Lord", and in your great mercy defend us from all perils and dangers of this night."
On the Sunday evenings in Lent, the Sundays between Ash Wednesday and Easter, the St. John's Compline Choir will lead us in the ancient service of compline, a sung prayer at the close of day. Compline invites you into peaceful contemplation as the choir chants psalms, sings hymns, and intones prayers that prepare us for the day's end.
