February is a big month for Youth service opportunities. Come and earn some community service hours and give a little time to your community. Through cooking, serving meals, and preparing coffee hour, all these opportunities are right here in Thaxter Hall. Please sign up for any events that you can and reach out with questions! THREE SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES IN FEB.
Feb 8 ~ Youth Cooking Ministry 3pm-6pm
Next Wednesday, February 8, is our next meeting of the Youth Cooking Ministry (formerly known as “Cooking for Cross Roads”). We will gather at 3:00pm as usual to thoughtfully prepare food for Cross Roads House, Dover Children’s Home, and also for our own Youth Music families who will be joining us at 5:00pm for a dine-in supper (which you are invited to as well!) that we will serve.
Based on registrations from earlier this Fall, it is our expectation that we will have a full crew and that we will all be present to not only the preparation but also the serving and dining for the Youth Music families (and ourselves), as well as the cleanup after the meal is over. With many hands we will make light work.

Come with a baked good or snack offering. Help decorate and set up a Valentines theme coffee hour for the SJC community to enjoy post-church.

Feb 19 ~ Mardi Gras Parish Dinner 4p-6p
Serve a homemade pancake dinner to parish members to celebrate the end of Mardi Gras! Many thanks to Sue Nalewajk for her amazing gifts around community meals and pulling together a cooking team!
This is an adult themed party and should be a fun night to serve! Youth members will help set up and be servers for a sit down meal. SIGN UP
