"Advent 4”
The Rev. Rob Stevens
The story of Jesus’ birth isn’t a Hallmark Card. I encourage you to imagine what the nine months were like after Mary & Joseph learned of her pregnancy. I bet it wasn’t all love and light! I imagine it was hard and messy at times. That’s a big part of the good news that God is with us — always — even through the hard and the messy.

Pop-Up Care Village
St. John’s Episcopal Church recently hosted Home For All’s Seacoast Pop-Up Care Village in Portsmouth, following our weekly Common Table meal. The event brought together multiple community partners to offer health care, legal aid, food, veterinary services, and housing resources in one welcoming space. Local media coverage highlighted the strength of these partnerships and St. John’s commitment to meeting neighbors with dignity, compassion, and care.
