There’s a word that appears frequently in the New Testament, metanoia, which is often translated as “repentance,” but a fuller meaning implies a decision to turn around, to face a new direction.

We proclaim a love of God that transcends all people and all religions; a love that is for all people. Let us be bold and share this with the world and risk the resistance that may come in the face of change.

Re-membering is so much more than an intellectual exercise…Re-membering puts us back together when we fall apart. Most of my prayer-life is remembering. To paraphrase Fredrick, to remember is to be human!
