Dear SJC Youth & Youth Family members:

Tomorrow morning, despite the holiday weekend, we are offering our first Middle School Youth Group gathering, beginning the new Rite 13 curriculum together! I hope you’ll be able to join us, and if not, come soon! I am hopeful that a weekly gathering will be the new reality for this crew of Middle Schoolers. Middle School students are invited to the Philbrick Room at 9:30AM with me! See you there — if you know you want to be part of this in the future but won’t be around this weekend, I’d love to hear from you so I know its just a bad day for you!

YOUTH APPLE PICKING & PIE BAKING SERVICE SUNDAY

Sunday, October 16th. Big thanks to Michelle Tyminski for heading up the pie baking project!

PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for carpool / caravan. Church's 15-passenger van available!

- Youth participants arrive at 9:30 and caravan with adult chaperones to the private orchard in Hampton Falls to harvest apples. Someone may drive the 15-passenger van to the orchard!

- Return to church to process apples and bake pies

- Families volunteer to deliver pies and handmade cards to the more isolated members of our community

- Leftover pies will be donated to our various cooking ministries
